Talk:Complete Sublime (3.5e Sourcebook)/Disciplines

All of the homebrew disciplines here seem to neglect the possibility of someone entering a PrC from the original ToB -- none of the restricted ones are available to any of those prestige classes. --DanielDraco 03:02, 16 August 2011 (UTC)

What do you mean? From the looks of it you're saying that none of the homebrew deals with things like Shadow Sun Ninja which has no homebrew pre-reqs. In which cause, "well yeah", so you must be asking something else. -- Eiji-kun 04:04, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
For example, a Swordsage can replace one of their standard disciplines with Anima River. An Eternal Blade, however, cannot, even though it totally fits their flavor. --DanielDraco 05:50, 16 August 2011 (UTC)

Adding classes to discipline list

I think it makes sense to list the class in the list so that you don't have to follow all the links to see which of them are relevant for your Crusader character, so I'll add a column for that. --Eromythic (talk) 05:26, 6 February 2022 (UTC)

I've also added a brief general explanation on what seems to be a general mechanic for exchanging an available discipline with one of the "new" disciplines in order to gain access to it. --Eromythic (talk) 05:52, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
