With a loud crack the ring clamps on your finger, flinging bright sparks in all directions. In spite of the intimidating lightshow your finger is fine, a copper band topped with a blue octahedron, and embossed images of an eel.
This ring grants its wearer the following benefits:
- Resistance to electricity 5. Unlike normal, this stacks with other sources of energy resistance.
- All natural and manufactured weapons wielded by the wearer deal an extra +1d6 electricity damage. This also applies to creatures grappling the wearer at the start of their turn.
- The wearer casts spells with the electricity descriptor with a +1 bonus on caster level.
The user has a form of minor magnetokinesis with this ring, allowing them to grant the floating property for up to two objects that can fit in one hand, or one object that can fit in two hands, with a touch. The object must be made of metal or otherwise magnetic, but it has no advise effect on the function of suspended items.
In addition the ring can glow as bright as a candle, toggled as a free action at will. If you hold an object which can be charged or otherwise powered by electricity you may power the object so long as it does not exceed the power of your average commercial battery. For objects which gather charge via electrical damage, it is considered to output 1 electric damage every minute.
Prerequisites: Forge Ring, electric loopSpC.
Cost to Create: 5000 gp, 400 EXP, 10 days.
