With a burst of unholy flame a clearly demonic horse arises from the pit to serve you. The steed has the same abilities as a heavy horse and is unable to attack. It's AC is 10 + your caster level, has 6 hp/level, effective HD equal to your caster level, and your saving throws. It is considered an Outsider (Evil, Extraplanar) for the purpose of interacting with spells and effects. It lasts for 24 hours or until dismissed as a standard action. It retains its hp and status over multiple summon attempts, and so if slain it remains dead until you have rested for 8 hours, which fully restores its health, status, and/or returns it to life.
At CL 2 and every 2 levels beyond, its land speed gains a +10 ft bonus.
When you gain Lesser Invocations, the steed can cross natural (but not magical) difficult terrain without slowing, and may walk on water as if it were solid.
When you gain Greater Invocations, the steed can fly up to its land speed (average).
When you gain Dark Invocations, the steed can run for a minute in a straight line. If uninterrupted it may then plane shift you and any occupants to any lower plane or back to the plane you left from. While plane shift is random by rapidly shifting between planes it can effectively arrive at any destination (as per greater teleport) after 1 hour of seemingly random travel.
