A finely crafted weapon made of the finest steel, the Hand of the Archlich is a +1 Urukke Steel Light Mace whose head take the form of a open skeletal hand. On each of it skeletal finger is a ring, slotted with a different kind of gemstone; a ruby cut into a triangle, an emerald cut into a cube, a sapphire cut into a sphere, a topaz cut into a rectangle and finally an onyx cut into a skull.

The wielder of the Hand of the Archlich may call upon the power of a single ring as a part of an attack made with it. For the purpose of this attack, the enhancement value of the hand count as 2 higher than normal and the attack is further enhanced based on which ring was used:

Ruby-slotted Ring: The attack deal an additional 2d6 fire damage and the attack is an automatic critical threat.
Emerald-slotted Ring: The attack deal an additional 2d6 acid damage and ignore hardness and damage reduction.
Sapphire-slotted Ring: The attack deal an additional 2d6 cold damage and slow the struck creature for 1 round.
Topaz-Slotted Ring: The attack deal an additional 2d6 electricity damage and is made as a touch attack.
Onyx-slotted Ring: The attack deal an additional 2d6 negative energy damage. If the attack it slay the struck creature it raise as a Corpse CreatureBoVD with half hit point under your control for 1 minute. Then it dies as normal.

Once a ring is used, the finger it was one closes and it cannot be used again. Once all five fingers are closed the Hand of the Archlich become the Fist of the Archlich.

The Hand of the Archlich is a unique item that cannot be replicated, but is not an artifact and thus may be destroyed or enhanced further as normal.
