Creating feats to patch problems that shouldn't have been there in the first place just doesn't sit well with me. If you want a better sorcerer progression, just rewrite the class.

This is an overpowed feat, the sorcerer already gets many more spells per day than a wizard, and does not have to prepare them. if you want access to higher level spells make this feat grant one additional spell per day of level / 2, making it so you gain only one spell, but you still get spells at the level a wizard gets them.

The Wizard already a lot better than the Sorcerer, they even get more feats and you are spending one on this feat. So that feat does a little to even compensate for the difference. --Leziad (talk) 15:15, 16 June 2018 (MDT)
