True PsykerEdit

Some psionics get more bang for the buck.

Most psionics have some limits on how far they can push themselves. Others, on the other hand, have figured out how to get the most out of what they have, and can push more of their power reserve into each shot. They can exhaust themselves more quickly, but the payoff is often worth it.

Creating a True PsykerEdit

This is an acquired or inherited template which can be applied to any creature.

Size and TypeEdit

The creature gains the Psionic subtype.

AttackEdit

The character gets a +1 Manifester level. This increases by 1 at 5th, 9th, 13th, and 17th levels. This is only for the purposes of DC, augments, and effective level. It does not allow the character to select a power earlier than he otherwise could.

This also applies to the caster level, for those abilities that reference that instead. Again, it does not qualify the character for new abilities, just affects the effective level of existing ones.

Special QualitiesEdit

Regardless of what psionic class or classes the character takes, he always uses his highest mental stat as his key caster stat, to determine DC's for saves, Power points, damage bonuses, and all other effects that are related to the key caster stat

He also has the ability to select his powers known from any list, including disciplines and other classes.

The True Psyker also gains Power Resistance of Hit Dice + 10.

AbilitiesEdit

The True Psyker gets +4 to any one mental stat of his choice.
