YouthdrainEdit
Some creature do not steal souls, but instead youth itself. While often thoughts to be simply magical aging, the effect of youthdrain isn't quite that. A creature affected by youthdrain does not look older, not immediately at least, although the permanent graying of hairs is a known permanent side effect of receiving youthdrain. Youthdrain is the erosion of mortality and youth, which may lead to faster aging or just outright death.
In a way, youthdrain act much like energy drain however it only affect creature who are "mortal". If a creature has an extreme lifespan such as a dragon, a creature with timeless body or simply does not age it is not affected by youthdrain. Unlike energy drain, youthdrain do not cause level loss, instead it does fade harmlessly after 24 hours passed. Unlike energy drain, youthdrain does not cause the slain creature to rise as an undead unless specified otherwise on the creature's entry.
If a creature is inflicted youthdrain equal to it HD it dies, becoming drained corpse as it skin blacken and all it fatty and muscle tissues wither to nothing. A DC 15 Heal with at least 1 ranks in Knowledge (Arcana) or (Religion) will reveal death by youthdrain. A creature slain by youthdrain can be brought back to life only by resurrection or stronger effect.
Youthdrain usually cannot be easily removed, methods of removal are specified in the creature's entry. Unless specified otherwise greater restoration, miracle and wish remove all youthdrain from a creature.
