Out of curiosity, how come great heroes can't fall into Shard? What causes them to become intelligent items and the like? --71.82.214.138 09:56, 19 November 2011 (UTC)

You know how a diamond is formed because it is being crushed by the weight of the world in a very literal sense? Heros take the weight of the world upon themselves, hardening their souls (which could explain stuff like why a 15th level fighter can survive death effects and crap a third level never could, but that is beside the point), so when they die with their world, their body is destroyed along with the rest of the world, but the soul is too hardened to subcum to that bullshit, so it is left behind. Under that light, their soul becoming a intellgent item is a "no duh" point. Really, what do you expect? A regular old rock?--Change=Chaos. Period. SC 18:18, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
