Time

Time Descriptor

The "Time" descriptor applies to the majority of spells, powers, maneuvers, soulmelds, and anything else capable of holding a descriptor that has an effect which involves altering time or the way creatures perceive it. Like other descriptors, it has no in-game effects of its own, but governs how other effects interact with effects bearing it (for instance, certain effects may hinder time effects and other effects may help them).

SRD Effects with the Time Descriptor

Note that this is not an exhaustive list, but it should give you an idea of what the Time descriptor applies to when making homebrew.

Non-SRD Effects with the Time Descriptor

Again, this is not an exhaustive list, but it should give you an idea of what to look for. For instance, many Diamond Mind abilities have the Time descriptor.

Homebrew Effects with the Time Descriptor

First and foremost, a vast majority of the Chaos Sword's abilities bear the time descriptor. In general, anything with an implicit or explicit "time" theme has the Time descriptor.
