1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

Yes it deserve it name.

This massive bow was designed not to fire arrow, but to fire spears. The bow itself is massive, but pulling the string is a herculean task by itself. Only a character with a strength of 20 or more can fire the bow without penalty, for each [[strength] 2 point below 20 the range of the bow halves and all attack made with it take a cumulative -2 penalty. The Spear-Thrower Greatbow must be grounded into the ground in order to fire, making it impossible to use on horseback and while flying.

The Spear-Thrower Greatbow can be used for power attacks unlike other projectile, it wielder may use her strength score instead of her dexterity score or attack and damage. All attacks made with a Spear-Thrower Greatbow is made as it wielder had the awesome blow feat.

Finally it wilder may as an attack action make an impaling attack. Instead of making an normal attack roll, the bow fire as a line that extend up the bow maximal range. The projectile will impale and go through every creature in the line, dealing damage as if they were struck by your weapon and are immediately affected by awesome blow. Every creature within the line is allowed a reflex DC 10 + 1/2 BAB + attack modifier to negate the damage. A character with the siege shot feat may make her siege shot an an impaling attack.
