Planetology is the study of planets. A person who studies planetology has a good understanding of the types of planets found within a crystal sphere. They can study a planet and look for signs of groundling civilisations and can also try to determine the local inhabitants and climate.[1]

Astrologers[2], astronomers[3], frontiersmen[4], geomancers[5] and merchants[6] often, but don't always, study planetology.

Known planetologists[edit]

  • Orvis Nanse - A planetologist able to spot that a settlement was probably a demihuman settlement from 100 miles overhead.[7]
