Roselias resemble miniature beautiful humans made out of flowers. They are sexy one foot tall women who live in gardens. The hands of a Roselia end in lovely flowers of a variety of colors, and the Roselia's body is covered by magically sharp thorns. The thorns of a Roselia are quite venomous, and onlookers are advised to look - but not touch.

Roselia usually congregate in sunny spots where their flowers can absorb the sunlight and grow pretty and strong. Occasionally a Roselia will grow with an unusual flower color, and when that happens the Roselia often sets off to find its fortunes away from other Roselia.

Combat[edit]

Tactics Round-by-Round:

Roselia are delicate and rely on their massive torrent of leafy destruction to keep predators away.

Vampiric Touch (Sp): Once per hour, a Roselia can cast vampiric touch as a sorcerer of a caster level equal to its hit dice.

The sample Roselia has a touch attack bonus of +10 and inflicts 5d6 damage.

Magical Leaves (Su): The Roselia's natural weaponry is +5 weapons.

Poison Thorns (Ex): The thorns of a Roselia are viciously sharp and agonizingly toxic. If a Roselia strikes with her thorns, she also injects the victim with a potentially lethal poison (DC is 10 + 1/2 HD + Con Bonus, Primary and Secondary Damage d2 Con). Further, if a creature strikes a Roselia with a natural weapon or grapples with a Roselia, that creature is struck with the Roselia's thorns (suffering damage and being afflicted with poison).

Petal Dance (Su): As a full-round action, a Roselia can create a tremendous wind that scatters allergenic pollen, hurls razor-sharp petals, and blasts confusing spores all over everything and everyone within close range (25 ft. plus 5 ft. per 2 HD). All creatures in the area (including the Roselia) suffer 1d6 slashing damage per 2 HD of the Roselia from the razor petals. Furthermore, all creatures within range (including the Roselia) must succeed at a Will save (DC = Perform check result) or become confused for one round per hit die of the Roselia. Creatures of Huge size or smaller within range other than the Roselia must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Charisma Modifier) or be blown away, knocked down, or checked depending upon size, as if struck by a hurricane force wind. Finally, petal dance makes a tremendous mess, and the entire area is considered difficult terrain until it is cleaned up.

Sun Growth (Su): If a Roselia is in sunlight, she has Fast Healing 1.

Tap Root (Su): If a Roselia is standing on earth or stone and does not move (even a 5' step), she heals 1 hit point at the end of the round.

Skills: Roselia gain skills and feats as if they were Fey.
