Speed Of Death (3.5e Sacrifice)
Entropic Wanderer Least (See Text); 2nd |
Activating this Sacrifice is a free action, but can only be done on your turn. When you do so, you steal time from your future to speed yourself up in the present.
When you first obtain this Sacrifice, you can steal a Swift action from yourself, allowing you to make a second Swift action this round. However, in the next round, during what would've been your Swift action, you vanish from the timeline for that action.
When you can cast Lesser Sacrifices, you can instead steal a Move action from the next round, thus preventing you from taking a Move action or Full-round action in the next round. Due to your vanishing, foes who attack you before the beginning of your next turn suffer a 20% miss chance against you, but you also suffer a 20% miss chance against them.
When you can cast Greater Sacrifices, you can choose to instead steal a Standard action. Due to your vanishing, foes who attack you before the beginning of your next turn suffer a 50% miss chance against you, but you also suffer a 50% miss chance against them (Assuming you can even attack them at all).
When you can cast Dark sacrifices, you can choose to instead steal that entire round's worth of actions. However, during your next turn, you vanish from existence entirely until the beginning of your next turn after that, preventing you from being damage or targeted whatsoever, because while vanished, you don't exist at all.
For example, an Entropic Wanderer who chooses to steal a whole round of actions would have two rounds of actions in round 1, vanish utterly starting on his turn in round 2, then reappear at the beginning of their turn in round 3.
Health Cost/Penalty: −5 (Least), −10 (Lesser), −15 (Greater), −20 (Dark)
