Mediocre Spell [Metamagic] The fireball's explosion wasn't very impressive, but it wasn't ineffective, either.Prerequisites: Ability to cast 1st-level spells.Benefit: A spell with this metamagic applied deals a flat amount of damage or harms a flat amount of targets - The average the spell could ordinarily do, to be precise. This applies to number of targets/HD effected, ability damage/penalties, damage, and so forth - Any variable, numeric effects that could be affected by Empower Spell are averaged out by this metamagic feat.

A Mediocre spell has no level adjustment and doesn't increase casting time if used by a spontaneous caster. Example: A Fireball cast by a 10th-level caster usually deals 10d6 damage (Max 60), with a Reflex save for half. Modified with this spell, the same Fireball would deal a flat 33 damage, with a save for half.
