Tremors
Evocation [Earth]
Level: Druid 2, Sorcerer/Wizard 2, Earth 2
Components: V, S
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: 0 ft.; see text
Area: Line emanating from you
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Reflex half
Spell Resistance: No

By striking the ground, you send shockwaves through the earth to send clods of dirt and stone flying upwards at opponents.

This spell affects a line starting at your current position in a direction of your designation; this line is always 5 feet wide and has a length of 10 feet per caster level (if you wish, you may truncate this length). Only squares of solid earth can be affected by this spell; squares that cannot be affected still count against the maximum length of the spell.

All creatures within the spell’s area of effect take 1d6 points of untyped damage per two caster levels and are knocked prone, with creatures entitled to a Reflex save for half damage and stopping the prone effect. Flying creatures take normal damage but cannot be knocked prone, while burrowing creatures take one and a half times normal damage. In addition, all squares affected by this spell become difficult terrain.
