[hide]List of Random Ideas
This is basically a list of ideas I'm kicking around. It really isn't a sandbox since I'm not even formatting or detailing these ideas yet :).
Races
- Single gender species - Not hermaphrodites. They both are involved in the insemination of an egg. Their conception could involve magic or something to create this mysterious egg that they both use as a conception device. They consider themselves superior to two-gendered races. Some members of their species gain traits of a male or female and are outcast from the society. (from an awesome episode of Star Trek TNG)
Feats
- X times per day as a free action your weapon has an enhancement bonus of +1 per 3 BAB. This lasts 5 rounds.
- X times per day as a free action your armor/shield has an enhancement bonus of +1 per 3 BAB. This lasts 5 rounds.
- Immediate action Antimagic field 1/encounter that lasts until the end of your next turn.
Classes
Bodyguard
- A combination of (mostly) defender and some battlefield control
Features
- Full BAB
- All good saves
- Choose someone to defend. They may use your AC if they are within 5ft. This range extends at higher levels.
- DR
- Extra HP
- If any targeted spell is aimed at the person you are defending, you can make a reflex save against the spell's DC. If you succeed, the spell targets you instead and you get a +4 bonus to the saving throw.
- Wall spell usages (wall of ice, stone, etc.)
--Actually this seems pretty dumb right now. Maybe if I come up with a way to make it fun to play.
Magic Items
- Elemental Items that make all damage you deal elemental, but any round you use it it grants the vulnerability of that element at a half effect (50% more damage instead of 100%). This could be a feat actually.
Campaign Setting
The Game
- Everything in the universe is just one big game played by powerful immortals (devils, gods, celestials, etc.)
- Everything that wouldn't make sense in D&D does make sense this way (dungeons having progressively harder monsters, random treasure piles, etc.). It is all governed in the overly complex and strange rules of the game.
- The PCs are basically pieces in this game (owned by some immortal)
