Class Features

All of the following are class features of the Savage Ronin.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Savage Ronin is proficient with all simple and martial weapon alongside a single exotic weapon of her choice. She is also proficient with light, medium and heavy armor as well as all shields (except tower shields).

Favored Weapon (Ex): A Savage Ronin gain the Weapon Focus feat with any weapon she is proficient with, this is thereafter known as her favored weapon. She count her class level as fighter level for the purpose of feats, however only for feats affecting her favored weapon. She may change what type of weapon is her favored weapon with 24 hours of training with the weapon in question, this changes any feat she took with her old favored weapon to match her new one.

Fighting Style (Ex): Not all Savage Ronin are the same, some possess skills and abilities which others do not.

Agile Combatant: This style grant the Weapon Finesse feat as a bonus feat and reduce the ACP of all armor she wear by half her class level. She add one-third of her class level to the Max Dexterity of any masterwork armor she wears.

Armorclad Juggernaut: While wearing medium and heavy armor, the Savage Ronin's speed is unaffected and she gain a +4 bonus to her Intimidate checks. At the start of every encounter, she gain two temporary hit points per class levels which return once the encounter end.

Cheap-Shot Archer: This style grant the Point Blank Shot feat as a bonus feat and allow the Savage Ronin to deliver precision damage from anywhere within her first range increment instead of 30 feet.

Dishonored Warrior: This style is only available if the Savage Ronin possess at least 2 HDs with full base attack bonus. Her Savage Ronin level grant her full base attack bonus instead of moderate base attack bonus. She count her non-savage ronin levels which grant full base attack bonus as half savage ronin level for the purpose of calculating her Dishonorable Strike and Rage class feature.

Two-Weapon Wielding Scoundrel: This style grant the Dual Weapon Fighting feat as a bonus feat and allow the Ronin to select two different weapons as her Favored Weapon.

Unarmed Master: This style grant the Savage Ronin gain Unarmed Damage progression of a Monk of her class level. Her unarmed strike is always considered to be her Favored Weapon in addition with any other Favored Weapon she might choose.

Rage (Ex): A Savage Ronin has the rage ability, which is identical to the Barbarian's Rage, including gaining Greater Rage at 11th and Mighty Rage at 20th. The Savage Ronin never gain Tireless Rage.

If you play Pathfinder use the Pathfinder's Barbarian rage per round mechanic, however the Savage Ronin never gain rage Powers.

Dishonorable Strike (Ex): At 2nd level a Savage Ronin learn how to perform a dishonorable blow which strike an opponent where it hurt her the most. This ability function as the Rogue's sneak attack and count as it for prerequisites. However unlike sneak attack, dishonorable strike only apply to attacks granted by base attack bonus Additionally she may deal her Dishonorable Strike damage in non-lethal damage when she use one of her attack granted by BAB to Disarm or Trip an opponent.

At 4th level and each even level thereafter, the Savage Ronin's dishonorable strike increase by 1d6.

Ronin's Flurry (Ex): A 1st level Savage Ronin is capable of striking with unerring speed. The Savage Ronin gain an extra attack whenever she make a full-attack, although it must be made with her Favored Weapon. The extra attacks granted by Ronin's Flurry stack with extra attacks granted by Two-Weapon Fighting. This ability count as Flurry of Blows for the purpose of meeting prerequisites and interacting with feat and equipment.

At 11th level she gain an additional extra attack through Ronin's Flurry with the same limitation, this attack suffer a -5 penalty. Finally at 17th level she gain a third additional attack, this one at a -10 penalty.

Sash or Steel (Ex): A 2nd level Savage Ronin gain her Charisma bonus to AC while wearing light or no armor, it is limited to her armor's max dexterity bonus much like her actual [[Dexterity] bonus.

Bonus Feat: At 3rd level and each 6 levels thereafter, a Savage Ronin gain a single [Fighter] bonus feat she meet the prerequisite for.

Ronin's Tricks: At 3rd level, 5th level, 9th level and each 4 level thereafter, a Savage Ronin learn a trick from the list below. These tricks usually represent either dirty tricks, swordmanship feat or even basic ki-using abilities. A Ronin's Trick cannot be chosen multiple times unless specified otherwise. Unless she possess the ability to use all skills in a rage (through feats or other abilities) the savage ronin cannot use any Ronin's Trick while raging. The save DCs of a dirty trick is DC 10 + 1/2 class level + the savage ronin's Charisma bonus. Once used a Ronin Trick cannot be used until a single round pass.

Divert Attention (Ex): As a swift action you point to a square behind your opponent, they must make a Will save or look. If they look they cannot take an attack of opportunity against you and count as not observing you until attacked or until they make a DC 5 Intelligence check which may be attempted at the beginning of each of it round. This is usable once per day per foe and is a [language-dependent]] ability.

Destabilizing Strike (Ex): As a swift action you ready your next attack to disrupt your opponent stance and ability to use maneuvers. The next attack you make catch your foe flat-footed if they were in a martial stance and make them Uncentered if it hit. If used as a part of Dirty Kiai it unready any maneuver the target had readied and prevent any maneuver recovery until they remove the Uncentered effect.

Dishonest Surrender (Ex): This ability function as the Don't Hurt Me skill trick. If you attack your foe while the effect is still active, it is flat-footed against it. If the attakc hit it also leave them staggered for 1 round from the physical and emotional pain of your sudden and inevitable betrayal. Once it is performed on a creature it become immune to it unless they possess the Airhead flaw or Idiotic trait

Envenom Blade (Ex): The Savage Ronin gain Poison Use and may apply a poison to her favored weapon as a swift action.

Fatal Impulse (Ex): As a swift action, the Savage Ronin can sheath her weapon, preparing for a extremely powerful strike. Starting from the start of her next turn, if she did not drew her weapon the next attack she make catch her foe flat-footed and deal double her Dishonorable Strike damage. If used as a part of Dirty Kiai she instead make a it against every creatures within 20 feet of her, she may exclude ally freely. A Savage Ronin must be at least level 9 before she can take Fatal Impulse.

False Steps (Su): As a move action, the Savage Ronin can feign to move, making a Feint against all opponents that can see her. She uses the same Feint results against all affected creatures. All creature successfully feinted see a major image of her moving 30 ft in any direction, while the Savage Ronin become Invisible to all creatures. Both the illusion and the invisibility last for 1 rounds.

Fire-Snake Wine Spit (Ex) or (Su): As a swift action, a savage ronin can take a swig of strong wine or other non-toxic flammable and then spit it out as a standard action. This ability is a breath weapon which may be delivered in a 15-ft cone-shaped spread or a 30 -ft. line, dealing 1d4 fire damage per class level and leave a burning grease effect on it area for 1 round. If the Savage Ronin is wielding a torch or Flaming weapon this Ronin's Trick is a Extraordinary ability, otherwise it is supernatural.

Inappropriate Disrobing (Ex): This Ronin's Trick behave as the Sexy Distraction except that you gain a +2 dodge bonus to AC against those affected for the encounter and do not take any penalty for using it. Alternatively you may use it alongside a Dirty Kiai as a swift action, make a single attacks against your opponent, dealing no damage to her, instead you deal damage to all of her equipment. All equipment broken this way fall on the ground, if it successfully disrobed the target there is a Sexy Distraction effect from them instead. You gain a +4 bonus on your Will against the distraction, but you are not immune to it.

Sudden Decapitation (Ex): As a move action, the savage ronin can specifically aim for the neck of her foe, increasing the critical threat of her weapon by 1 for 1 round, this is applied after any other effect which alter critical hits threat range (such as keen or Improved Critical). In addition if the attack is a natural 20, it strike the neck directly changing the weapon's critical multiplier to x4 unless it was higher. If a savage ronin kill an enemy with an attack enhanced by this ability, it always decapitate it. If used as a part of Dirty Kiai the attack is always a critical threat.

Quick Draw: A 4th level Savage Ronin gain Quick Draw as a bonus feat.

Against All Odds (Ex): A 5th level Savage Ronin is only more motivated when fighting multiple foes, she a +2 dodge bonus to AC while fighting multiple foes within 5 feet of her. In addition when a creature count as flanking her, she count as flanking them.

Kill or be Killed (Ex): A 7th level Savage Ronin may take a -4 penalty to AC at the start of her turn, if she does if a foe attack it provoke an attack of opportunity from her. This only happen once per opponent per rounds.

Dirty Kiai: Once per encounter, a 7th level Savage Ronin may make a single attack with her favored weapon as a standard action. This attack gain a bonus to both attack damage equal to the savage's ronin's Charisma modifier and catch it target flat-footed unless they possess uncanny dodge. A Dirty Kiai combine well with many Ronin's Tricks.

At 15th level the Savage Ronin may use Dirty Kiai twice per encounter.

Rebel's Reputation (Ex): A 8th level Savage Ronin's reputation spread, which make her an enemy of the law. Non-hostile lawful beings are one step less friendly towards you than normal (to a maximum of Unfriendly). This is only an 'initial attitude' – if you take any actions that harm or offend them, their attitude will adjust appropriately. A successful disguise can help alleviate such penalty as well.

However there is a good side to her tales spreading, choose one of the following reputation from the list below, non-hostile creatures that match this reputation you are one step friendlier towards you than normal (to a maximum of Friendly). Similarly This is only an 'initial attitude' and may even cancel out the clause above.

Freedom Fighter: You fight against oppression and tyranny, chaotic-aligned and oppressed beings are friendlier toward you.

Friend of Justice: You care for the the cause of justice and good, good-aligned beings are friendlier toward you.

Ineffable Charmer: You are a rebel, and a hot one, beings who are physically or sexually attracted to you are friendlier toward you.

Wandering Warrior: You are constantly looking for a good fight, warrior-like beings are friendlier toward you.

Greater Rage: At 11th level, a Savage Ronin’s bonuses to Strength and Constitution during her rage each increase to +6, and her morale bonus on Will saves increases to +3. The penalty to AC remains at –2.

Inevitable Blade: A 19th level Savage Ronin completely ignore any miss chance and cover when making her attacks granted by BAB. She may even hit a foe benefitting from total cover.

Mighty Rage: At 20th level, a Savage Ronin's bonuses to Strength and Constitution during her rage each increase to +8, and her morale bonus on Will saves increases to +4. The penalty to AC remains at –2.
