Silent Bellflower[edit]

In places of strange magic, a rare pale bell-shaped flower grows with coppery stamen that swing gently in the wind like a bell. When noises are made outside of the flower they pre-emptively release counter-waves whenever the flowers are jostled leading to noises being muted and stifled within 20 ft. As such in any sort of wind, bubbles of silence can pop up. Treat it as silence centered on the flower with the following exception: when subject to any sonic damage the bells can negate up to 5 points of sonic damage per flower, and the flower is destroyed from the shock.

Some thought to attach bellflowers to staves, swung around to keep the silence going in absence of wind. However the flowers are delicate, and have no hardness and 1 hp. They cannot be created, only found, but a price is given for trading. Bellflowers decay after 1 week from being removed from their host plant, and plants usually produce batches of 5d6 flowers at any one time.

Cannot be crafted. Market Price 75 gp per flower.
