Potion Witch
Instead of casting spells, you brew potions.
Class: Wizard
Level: 1-20
Replaces: Bonus feats, normal spellcasting
Benefit: Gain the following.
Potioncasting: When you cast spells, no longer do you cast them normally - Instead, you infuse them into water or oil, making a potion. Your spells no longer require somatic or verbal components, but always require a Vial (1gp) filled with water, or a flask of oil, as a material component. To affect a target with a spell, you either have to give them to potion to drink (Harmless single-target spell) or splash it on them with Throw Potion (Harmful or harmless single-target spell). Additionally, area-of-effect and multiple-target spells can be cast by whoever drinks the potion, using your caster level and save DC - So you could hand a potion of Burning Hands to your Rogue and he could breathe fire, or supercharge your Fighter and let him unleash a lightning bolt; They cast the spell as part of the action needed to drink the potion. Other spells, such as Gate, Summon Monster, and the like, are usually Oils.
Potion Toss: You gain the effects of the Throw Potion feat, and can choose to use the feat to toss potions to targets without affecting them with the potion.
Apprentice Alchemist: You gain Brew Potion, Bottoms Up, and Augmented Alchemy as bonus feats at first level. Additionally, you can ignore the spell level restriction on making potions.
Learned Alchemist: At 5th level, you gain the Alchemical Mastery, Potion Potency, Potion Sipper and Far Throw feats as bonus feats. Additionally, you can now use Throw potion as an attack action; You use your Caster Level in place of your BAB for the purposes of determining your number of attacks per round.
Batch Maker: At 7th level, you gain Alchemical Enchantment as a bonus feat, and when you brew a potion, you may choose to brew up to 12 identical potions at the same time; Likewise, when making an alchemical item such as Alchemist's Fire, you may make up to 25 at a time. However, all non-temporal costs are still paid normally.
Master Alchemist: At 10th level, you gain the Alchemical Extract, Potion Cache and Brew Archpotion feats as bonus feats. Additionally, by touch, you can grant a number of targets per day equal to your Intelligence modifier the benefits of the Potion Cache and Potion Sipper feats, lasting until you next rest to regain spells or until 24 hours have passed, whichever comes first.
