To the extent that move earth and stone shape are already wizard spells, I'm not sure what the benefit is of using one seventh level spell to do the job of a pair of 4th and 6th level spells. Since you reused the verbiage of those spells a bit, they were clearly on your mind. I'm just at drawing a blank for why a wizard would want to make that choice. To the extent that there is a demand for such, I feel like it's largely subsumed by mirage arcane which is an illusion in name only. It can reshape landscapes, add or alter structures in its area, lasts 10 days and is good as real (can only bypass it with truesight). --Vaegrim (talk) 18:45, 26 April 2019 (MDT)

I had originally ripped out a large chunk of a subclass I made with earth shaping abilities and really didn't want to just throw the whole lot of it away. It was supposed to be a 1/long rest feature and a 7th level spell slot seemed to fit the bill for its intended scope. Overall, I used a large portion of pre-existing wording to make it easier to digest and understand clearly. The specific intention of this is to have a spell that can permanently alter the environment in a relatively large area. I know that the overall wording might need an adjustment, and it might even require the specific area of effect to function like the cube system presented in the fabricate spell. The classes selected for the spell were not random if that helps any.--Gr7mm Bobb (talk) 01:46, 27 April 2019 (MDT)
