This is a homebrew item which rely on the Variant Elixir of Love, it is not based on the SRD Elixir of Love.

A lovely potion, in a nice heart-shaped bottle. It glow a faint pink
A sweet pale pink liquid, with low viscosity usually held in a heart-shaped vial. It smells and tastes like strong alcohol, however it is tangy and pleasant. It behave as a Elixir of Love except its effect is much stronger and longer lasting. Unlike the normal elixir, it can be used to bond with a specific creature by placing its hair inside the potion, which dissolves within 1 round. If the elixir is taken within 10 minute of it being done, the drinker falls in love with it instead of the next creature he or she sees.
The effect is otherwise the same as the Elixir of Love except that it lasts 1d3 years and the target attitude changes to helpful and may not be lowered. After the duration ends the drinker is still in love and helpful, however now its attitude and feeling may change naturally. A break enchantment spell or stronger effect, used within a day of imbibing the elixir reverts the drinker to its natural mindset and attitude toward the target.
Prerequisites: Brew Potion and Craft Wondrous Item, charm monster, permanency.
Cost to Create: 7,500 GP, 600 EXP, 15 days.
