Egoist
An egoist is a mesmerist whose powers are innately focused on herself. She is unable to affect the subconscious of others in a positive manner, leaving many of her most powerful tricks usable only on herself. However she possesses improved combat abilities over most mesmerist.
Class: Mesmerist
Level: 2nd, 5th, 9th, 13th, 17th, 20th
Replaces: Mesmerist Trick (2nd), Manifold Trick, Mental Potency
Benefit: An egoist receive the following class abilities:
Class Skill: An egoist add Climb and Swim as mesmerist class skill.
Weapon Proficiency: At 1st level, an egoist is proficient with one martial weapon of her choice.
Egoist's Limitations: An egoist may only implant tricks within herself and cannot trigger her painful stare on attacks made by allies. She cannot use touch treatment (or Fey Veil for a Fey Trickster) on creatures other than herself. However she gain Reflexive Trick as a bonus feat.
Bonus Feat: At 2nd level, 5th level and each 4 levels thereafter, an egoist gains a bonus [combat] or [stare] feat that she meets the prerequisites of.
This ability replaces the mesmerist trick gained at 2nd level and manifold trick.
