A question: what is the benefit of gaining Umbral Shroud at 11th level, when you gain Shadow Veil at 5th? They both target a single creature within 30ft, and they have the same DC. Shadow Veil causes the target to treat others as though they have concealment (20% miss chance, among other things) while Umbral Shroud causes a miss chance of 5% per level of the highest darkness spell you have available. Because this class's spellcasting only goes up to 4th level spells, that means a 20% miss chance is the highest it can go, and you already got that 6 levels ago. Not to mention, at level 11 you don't have access to 4th level spells yet, so you actually gain less miss chance from your new feat than your old one. The only thing Umbral Shroud gives that Shadow Veil doesn't is constant 10ft Darkvision. The effect of Umbral Shroud on an enemy is objectively worse than that of Shadow Veil; notably, Shadow Veil lets you make Hide checks against the target, while Umbral Shroud does not.
