This is effectively a mix between the Gallant and Honor Guard, but with many changes. Firstly I changed the code of gallantry, as cavalier should not be held to a paladin's standard. Their power isn't divinely gifted, and so they should not require atonement to (check notes) retain their mount and charge well. I kept most of the later honor guard class feature to the honor guard, as it fits their flavor more than the gallant protector. Since I removed the mount in exchange for a secondary type of challenge, I removed Order of the Sword from Code of Gallantry and added Order of the Shield. I gave the Gallant Protector a small bonus for keeping her stricter edict. --Leziad (talk) 20:59, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
