Fur armor is composed of heavy animal skins draped over the body. Fur isn't as protective as leather or hide armor, since the skins aren't cured, but it's a step up from cloth armor. In colder climates, fur is often worn in place of or in addition to regular clothing to help keep the wearer warm.
Enchantments: Any magic effect that can be applied to leather armor can also be applied to fur armor.
Proficiency: Any class proficient with leather armor is also proficient with fur armor. Taking the Armor Proficiency (Leather) feat also grants the character proficiency with fur armor.
