Obscured (5e24)
[1] Sometimes environmental conditions partially block line of sight. There are two levels of being obscured:
Heavily Obscured
[2] You have the Blinded condition while trying to see something in a Heavily Obscured space. See also “Blinded,” “Darkness,” and “Playing the Game” (“Exploration”).
Lightly Obscured
[3] You have Disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks to see something in a Lightly Obscured space. See also “Dim Light” and “Playing the Game” (“Exploration”).
