A black void appears in mid air. Suddenly the magic missiles were redirected, sucked into the dark never to be seen again.
A black void absorbs any non-touch and non-personal spell cast with a target within or passing through the area of effect. It has no effect on pre-existing spells or effects. Spells redirect their intended target or targets to the orb. Lines curve 45 degrees every 5 ft in order to end at the orb. Cones decrease in width to join the orb. Once a spell reaches the orb, the effect ends even if it has additional area it can pass through. The spell does not differ between ally and enemy, but the orb remains in a fixed position. Multiple overlapping spell sink effects direct spells towards the nearest available orb.
