Class Features

All of the following are class features of the Torchlight Mage.

Spellcasting: At each level you gain new spells per day and an increase in caster level (and spells known, if applicable) as if you had also gained a level in a spellcasting class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If you had more than one spellcasting class before becoming a torchlight mage, you must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining spells per day, caster level, and spells known.

Light in the Dark (Su): As long as a torchlight mage hold a torch or war torch she gain a +1 bonus on [light] spells and count them as one spell level higher per class level for the purpose of dispelling [darkness] effects.

Magical Flame (Su): A 1st level torchlight mage has continual flame cast on any torch or war torch. Her flame is purely magical, allowing her to use the war torch in area without oxygen or underwater.

While using her torch as a focus, the torchlight mage can use produce flame at will.

Torch Focus (Ex): A 1st level torchlight mage add the focus to any torch or war torch she wield.

Heightened Light (Su): A 2nd level torchlight mage's torch can now generate as much light as a daylight spell. She can adjust her torch's light luminosity as a free action (between generating extremely dimly and as much as the daylight spell).

Lightblast (Sp): A 2nd level torchlight mage can fire a light laser as a spell-like ability as a swift action. Once used you must wait 1 round before using Lightblast again.

White Flame (Su): A 3rd level torchlight torch burn white and provide protection to all creature within it light as a ghostlight and a constant hide from undead effect. Additionally attack with her war torch deal an extra 2d6 points of magical damage that is doubled when used against undead.
