Whenever you would be killed, knocked unconscious, petrified, sealed, banished, soul-trapped, or otherwise thoroughly nullified as a threat to your enemies, you may cast this invocation as an immediate action in response to the effect that would incapacitate you. You cast this invocation in the split-second time frame immediately after you are subjected to the incapacitating effect, but before you are actually incapacitated. To cast this invocation successfully, you must succeed on a Fortitude save (DC = the DC of the effect that would incapacitate you (such as flesh to stone) or your damage (lethal and/or nonlethal) in excess of the amount required to incapacitate you (usually 0 or −10 hp), whichever is relevant and/or higher). If you succeed on the save, you nullify the effect that would have incapacitated you and are completely restored to health, as a true resurrection spell (or whatever spell would be used to unincapacitate you, such as stone to flesh); your hp is fully restored (lethal, nonlethal, and vile damage are all completely cleared) and all negative conditions, including but not limited to ability damage, ability burn, ability drain, and negative levels, are completely cleared. You can cast this invocation several times in the same encounter, but each use cumulatively increases the Fortitude DC to successfully cast it by 2; this save DC increase lasts until you fail and get incapacitated for real, or don't get incapacitated at all for a full 24 hours.
At your option, you may feign having been incapacitated for [(your save result − the save DC) ÷ 3] hours, at the end of which you will be automatically revived; you may activate the true resurrection or analogous effect and revive yourself at any time before then, and are completely aware of what is happening around you while you are pretending to be incapacitated, so you can wait until just the right moment to spring back to life and wipe your foes out when they least expect it.
