Field Chemist

A well-learned fighter who supplement her fighting capabilities with alchemical knowledge. The field chemist eschews extensive training with armor to edge her craft.

Class: Fighter

Level: 1st

Replaces: Armor Training

Benefit: A field chemist gain the following class features:

Skills: A field chemist adds Knowledge (Nature) as a class skill.

Chemist: At 4th level, a field chemist gains a bonus on Craft (Alchemy) equal to half her class level and gain the ability to prepare extract like an alchemist, except that she uses a Ranger's spells per day as her extract per day. The field chemist uses her Intelligence as her key casting ability score. Her caster level is equal to her fighter level –3.

At 7th level, the field chemist gain Brew Potion as a bonus feat and gain an extra extract per day for each level she has access to.

This ability replaces armor training and armor mastery.
