The pale silver light cast a haunting pale over the terrain. The howl of wolves could be heard as will o' wisps danced in the air around it.
This lantern can be switched between a bullseye lantern to hooded lantern, or hidden completely, as a move action by moving the sheathe around the light. This lantern requires no oil and emits a soft pale silver light which only illuminates an area up to shadowy illumination out to its maximum radius or distance, but for creatures with low-light vision it is completely illuminated. However it emits a small visual presence, only glowing as bright as a candle itself. The light emitted from the lantern counts as moonlight, but for the purpose of creatures affected by moonlight they must be exposed to the lantern for 3 times as long before they are affected.
If used while under actual moonlight, you can use a standard action to cast motes of moonlight at your opponent. Treat this as magic missile at will at a caster level equal to your character level, with no cap on the number of missiles. This is a 1st level spell-like ability.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, light, magic missile.
