Solar Domain

A Sun domain for those focused more on the "giant ball of glowing plasma" and "light" and less on the "undead hate this thing" and "fire". Praise the sun! Without it, there would be no life, no warmth, no sight, no wind! A cold dead ball of rock is no fun for anyone, so praise that sun! This domain is functionally similar to the Sun domain, and can qualify as the Sun domain when possible.

Granted Powers[edit]

You can conjure javelins of pure sunlight whose damage is based on the local light levels around you. In normal lighting conditions it deals 1d8 light damage per two cleric levels you possess to a single target in 60 ft. This is a ranged attack roll. In bright light, the damage rises to d10s. In shadowy illumination the damage drops to d6s, and in total darkness the damage drops to d4s. It counts as a spell-like ability with a caster level equal to half your cleric level (minimum 1st).

You may use this ability 3+Cha modifier/day. Against creatures vulnerable to sunlight, they are treated as being exposed to sunlight for 1 round.
