Spider Pot[edit]
A small fragile urn is sealed with wax. Inside lays a swarm just waiting to burst forth into the world.
A favorite weapon of drow, the spider pot is a small urn filled with baby spiders encased in a alchemical liquid which keeps them in stasis until needed. When thrown, the swarm bursts out and immediately comes to life, scattering in all directions, but not before crawling all over the poor victims caught inside and causing nausea. Creatures in a 10 ft cube must make a DC 15 Fortitude save or become nauseous for 1 round. They do not otherwise take damage from the swarm, and 1 point of damage in the area (such as an environmental hazard) destroys the swarm instantly before it can work.
