| Since this is an epic spell, as a rule, I don't feel there is any need to worry about balance. So, instead, I look at what flavorful stuff this spell can do. It can create a mini sun that can float around an light stuff on fire. There can be huge mage wars trying to move the orb back and forth to fry the other mages. Or even two powerful mages could play a game of Concentration ping-pong. Yeah, that's pretty fun. And, even though the Spellcraft DC is ridiculous, as I said, balance doesn't really matter at epic levels anyways.
