Ratings[edit]

RatedNeutral.png Eiji-kun is neutral on this article and rated it 2 of 4.
I don't know about the early form, but as is the thing is good. CL x2 is a bit excessive for level 1 though, I would have been perfectly ok with CL to damage, making it applicable to things like Smite Evil. Save the CL x2 for a higher level. That's why it's neutral and not a like.

'You gain a bonus on the attack roll equal to twice all of your target's current caster levels combined, and deal twice that amount in bonus damage.'

Uuhh....You do realize that, in most cases, this amounts to twice the opponent's level bonus to attack, which is completely off the scale past level one! And I'm not even talking about damage... What the hell were you thinking!!? Why the **** would you have such a ****ING high bonus to attack!!??? For an example, against my 16th level multiclass cleric/wizard with Practised Spellcaster, this would amount to +64 to attack and +128 to damage!! How could I ever HOPE to survive, let alone DODGE such a strike? And it's first level!!!

This maneuver needs a MAJOR toning down!

Removed my rating following your toning down of the maneuver, as suggested. It makes more sense, now, but I still think the bonus to attack (caster level + 1) is too high. Maybe you should put a cap to it. No effect should grant a +10 or more bonus to attack, even if circumstantial. I think the Damage is pretty much all right as is, though. -HarrowedMind (talk) 23:13, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
