Timeless Immortal[edit]
“ | How can one live 4,000 years and still be shown up by troublemakers barely out of adolescence? I guess I could just outlive them... but that is just so unsatisfying. | ” |
—Hetepheres, Human Timeless Immortal |
The Timeless Immortal is a mix between a prestige class and a template. It allow characters to become immortal, although the means are given directly by the class. A Timeless Immortal lose quite a bit of combat prowess, however they become extremely tough and at some point essentially unkillable. The class grant a large bonus to Constitution and improve scaling abilities, it does not grant any spellcasting nor any new class features however, making it more useful to those without much to lose by multiclassing.
Becoming a Timeless Immortal[edit]
Feats: | Vital Tenacity. |
---|---|
Special: | The character must have been previously exposed to a immortality granting phenomena such as wishing for immortality, a immortality granting potion, etc. The character must also be both living and mortal before gaining levels in this class. |
- Unlike most PrC, you may take your first level in Timeless Immortal without having the Vital Tenacity feat. But it must be acquired before taking the second level, in which case it no longer has any prerequisites. This is for thematic payoff of at least gaining agelessness for a wish or similar event while not bestowing the full power of the class yet.

Class Features[edit]
All of the following are class features of the Timeless Immortal.
Agelessness (Ex): A 1st level Timeless Immortal cease to age past the point she took the class. She do not take any further bonus or penalty from aging and do not die of old age. They become unable to be magically aged or rejuvenated as well and do not lose a level upon being brought back from the dead. The process that make Timeless Immortal lock both their body and mind in time.
Constitution Bonus: At each class level, the Timeless Immortal gain a +1 bonus to her Constitution.
Partial Class Advancement: The timeless immortal class gives advancement to pre-existing class features, such as sneak attack, bardic songs per day (but not bardic music known), caster level (but not spells known), and initiator level (but not new maneuvers). It does not grant new class features, nor does it grant spells per day, spells known, or similar abilities.
Restricted Progression: The Timeless Immortal's power take care and time to grow. As a result a character cannot take more Timeless Immortal levels than she has level in other classes. By example, a character would require to take four levels in any other class in order to take 4 levels of timeless immortal.
Bonus Feat: At each even level, the Timeless Immortal gain a single bonus feat from the following list, she must meet the prerequisites for the feats as normal unless noted otherwise: Blood of Stone, Body of Iron, Born Tough (ignoring prerequisites), Buff Body, Diehard, Endurance, Stone Power, Tough as Nail, Toughness.
Any feat which can be taken instead of other feats, such as any variant of diehard or toughness are acceptable.
Unkillable (Su): A 2nd level Timeless Immortal is hard to permanently put down, even after she is dead her Vital Tenacity feat keep healing her corpse. Over time as her corpse heal she will become dying but stable. This ability only work if her body would be in a state suitable for raise dead.
Animus Protection (Ex): A 3rd level Timeless Immortal become immune to energy drain, death-effect and effect which would displace or negatively affect her soul (such as magic jar).
If the Timeless Immortal would receive Negative Levels from a source she is not immune to they cannot kill her. If the levels are not from wielding an item (such as a Holy weapon while evil) they are healed at the rate of 1 per round.
Body Purification (Ex): A 3rd level Timeless Immortal's body heal things that normally cannot be healed. Whenever she rest she is healed as per both lesser regenerate and lesser restoration and is cured of any disease she may have. She also now heal an additional 3 hit points per HD when she rest, this stack with Vital Tenacity and any other effect which increase the amount of hit point gained after resting.
Timeless Perfection: At 4th level the Timeless Immortal body become truly locked in time, granting her a major increase in her immortality. Firstly her immortal mind adapt to her new timeless body, granting her a +2 bonus to any two different mental ability scores. She gain Fast Healing equal to half her class level which stack with any other sources of fast healing, she heal 1 point of ability damage and drain each hour and she regrow limbs as per regenerate.
The Timeless Immortal' body reach perfection, as her body will quickly put itself back together or refuse to change. As a result, she become immune to transmutation effects unless they also affect object, any polymorph or shape changing effect and her maximum hit point cannot be reduced (such as by vile damage). This only affect future effect, any inherent effect which affected her previous to her immortality still have their full effect. This ability prevent a Timeless Immortal to change shape, even willingly, unless it is an inherent ability or through a extraordinary or supernatural class feature gained before she gain this ability.
Her Unkillable ability now allow her to come back from any condition unless her body as been utterly destroyed (such as by a sphere of annihilation). She can even regenerate out of being petrified over the course of 1d4+1 days, although stronger effects such as temporal stasis still does her for good.
The Timeless Immortal may keep taking class level past 4th, she is still limited by her Restricted Progression. This do not grant any extra class features, but still increase any scaling class features.
