The weapons triangle[edit]
The weapons triangle in a function added in FE4 that adds more thinking before you attack. Should I attack this solider with my silver sword or my iron axe with the silver sword having disadvantage against the soldiers lance while the iron axe has the advantage
Map of the weapons triangle[edit]
Swords&Magic>Axes&Bows>Lances&Knives>Swords&Magic
(Note: A katana count as a sword, A club count as an axe, A naginata count as a lances, A yumi counts as a bow & A shuriken counts a a knife)
However the magic part gets more in depth with Dark, Anima, Light & Druidic magic with the following: Dark>Anima>Light>Dark (Druidic has a slight advantage vs light (+1 to damage) and Dark (+15 to hit)) and even MORE complex with anima with the following:Fire>Wind>Thunder>Fire (ice sits in the middle)
Advantage & Disadvantage[edit]
When one weapon has advantage against another weapon gains A +1 to damage and a +15 to hit, when you have disadvantage the same happens except instance of adding you subtract to your total. However when you have advantage against someone when you have a slayer weapon you double the advantage
