Talk page notices[edit]

It might be best to make those notices to put comments all on one page in a template, and then link to the template. Too late now for the Bleach book, but if you do anything like that in the future, make a page "Soucebook (3.5e Sourcebook)/Notice" and then link to it with {{:Sourcebook (3.5e Sourcebook)/Notice}}. It'll save only a bit of space, but allows for editing the notice quickly. I would have tried to make your notice pretty, but I don't want to edit all of them.... --Havvy 09:11, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

Uploaded Images[edit]

Just a heads up: make sure you provide a source link for all images marked as Fair Use (as in the case of File:ChainedSwordThrow.gif) or else they have to be deleted. So, you get a week to straighten it out. --Ganteka Future 20:10, 28 December 2010 (UTC)

What do you mean source link? Just where I got the clip from? The Dire Reverend 04:04, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, the URL that it came from. It helps if you can clarify that it is at least used with permission if it's not the original source. - TG Cid 06:47, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
What if the source of the image is not from a URL? Also, could you provide an example of a picture using the fair use lisence? The Dire Reverend 07:20, 29 December 2010 (UTC)

BUG[edit]

Just bugging you in hopes that you will start adding some more to the system. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kiero sollus (talkcontribs) at

Yeah, I really like working on the BleachD20 Sourcebook, but I can never find a game that lasts more than two weeks that I am not forced to DM (those fall apart within two weeks too), and that discourages me from working on it. The Dire Reverend 07:57, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

Archiving[edit]

If you'd like to remove old comments and discussions from your talk page, please create an archive, something like User talk:The Dire Reverend/Archive 1, linking to it from the top of this page. --Ganteka Future 16:05, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

I did something like it, if you have a problem with me calling it The Dire Archive, let me know.
Also, is there a way for me to ask the wiki to tell me all pages that are under User:The Dire Reverend, like my signature? The Dire Reverend 07:57, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

Thanks[edit]

Hi, Just wanted to thank you for making this wiki amazing for those of us who want to play some Bleach D&D. I added a topic to the discussion of the sourcebook page, no idea if it worked or not, first time ever doing any of this (it did not because I had no idea at first of the math problem at the top lol). However I suggested making a story page or something so that people who have played a custom campaign can share their campaign for others to use or take ideas from. Bleach has a lot of alternate reality openness that we can use. Also I used red text on the page without knowing that you hate it lol I'll make sure not to do that again. I'm also a web developer as profession so if you need any help with that kind of stuff let me know, my email is [email protected] if you would like to contact me about either of these topics. Take care.

Bleach Sourcebook[edit]

Why did you redirect the talk pages (ex. [1])? I was going to post some comments, but having them all on one page would be very annoying since you wouldn't know what I'm commenting on. --Aarnott 18:05, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

So I don't have to look at a bunch of talk pages. Instead, I just look at one and the people say, "For the Espada prestige class, blah blah blah" The Dire Reverend 21:13, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
If you are really concerned with missing stuff, you should add things to your watchlist (which has a handy link at the top right). I'd like to do a pretty thorough review of the Bleach sourcebook, but that single talk page is going to get very very long if I do it your way. --Aarnott 21:16, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
I'm with Aarnott on this one. In all honesty, individual talk pages CAN be annoying to monitor, but at the same time, watchlists exist for that very reason. I'm probably gonna join him in the review process - especially given your claim that this is above Wizard-level balance! - MisterSinister 21:19, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
In a show of shameless self-promotion, I would say to measure it against some Tome material or the Liber Demonica monsters (or hell, even LD classes) before you say it's above wizard-level. It's TOUGH to get above that. Like, Pun-Pun tough. - TG Cid 03:56, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
What Cid said, but I'd add that being above Wizard is actually undesirable, given that it brings you into 'wtf, insane' territory way too fast. - MisterSinister 04:44, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
Bleach D20 is supposed to be above Wizard level balance Because it's super powerful anime (they are called gods of death, after all), and Bleach D20 characters should only face other Bleach D20 characters. If all Bleach D20 characters are equal in power, being about wizard balance is not a big deal. The Dire Reverend 09:37, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

The thing is, a shinigami (or anything they fight) is simply higher-level in d20 terms. I wouldn't peg them at anything below about 6th level, at which point the kind of powers they get are noticeably rogue-level if anything. If you want 1st level characters pulling those kinds of stunts, that's cool - except at that point, you're basically cooking a new system, and not a variant on anything d20 that's even remotely recognizable. - MisterSinister 09:58, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
