Zephyral Aluminium[edit]
This magically-created alloy, sometimes also called zephyrium, is made by infusing mundane aluminium with the elemental force of air, winds and tempest, creating a special silvery, almost diaphanous metal, which can be forged effectively even in thin objects, making the final product very light and demonstrating special interactions with wind.
A weapon made of zephyral aluminium carries the stride of its wielder forward, giving a +5 ft enhancement bonus to its land speed. This bonus increases to +10 ft when charging, flying or gliding. As a full-round action, or with a full-attack against an opponent, the weapon may disperse a 5ft-cube square filled with fog, or any fog-like substance, as if gust of wind was cast on it.
Armors made of zephyrium are very lightweight, counting as a weight category lower than they are, while light armors made of it have their maximum Dexterity bonus increased by one and their armor check penalty decreased by one. Those wearing zephyral aluminium armors have their flight maneuverability increased by one step and count as one size larger for the purpose of interacting with wind effects.
Zephyral aluminium is so costly that weapons and armors made from it are always of masterwork quality; the masterwork cost is included in the prices given below. Weapons and armors made of zephyrium have a 10% discount on air and wind-related enhancements, such as the windy and windy burst weapon enhancements. Only metal weapons and armors may be made out of this material.
Zephyral aluminium has 15 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 6.
