When encountering the selected energy type against a form of energy which would still deal damage to you (such as being hellfire, or a spell under Searing Spell metamagic), you remain immune to the effect unless the source has an equal or higher caster level than your character level.  A deity can have this ability multiple times, choosing a different form of energy each time.
