|lvl4=By speaking infernal and increasing the casting time by one step, you can add the [[SRD:Evil Effect|Evil]] descriptor to the spell you are casting, but not if it's a [[Good]] spell.
|lvl6=Speaking infernal while casting a [[SRD:Compulsion Subschool|Compulsion]] spell doubles the penalties it apply and the duration of the effect.
|lvl8=If you cast a [[SRD:Conjuration School|conjuration]] spell which calls or summons a devil, adding infernal as a vocal component you empower the creature giving it temporary hit points equal to your caster level and +4 to Strength and Dexterity. Doing so makes you suffer one point of damage per spell level, which can't be reduced or negated by any means.
