|benefit=By incurring one point of [[Bio-Energy (3.5e Creature Ability)|bio-energy drain]], you become effectively [[SRD:Haste|hasted]] for 2d4 [[SRD:Round|rounds]]. This is an [[SRD:Special Abilities Overview#Extraordinary|extraordinary]] ability like most [[Xenotheric (3.5e Creature Subtype)|Xenotheric]] special abilities and [[3.5e Xenotheric Feats|feats]], and as such cannot be despelled by [[SRD:Dispel Magic|dispel]] effects or negated in an ''[[SRD:Antimagic Field|antimagic field]]'' (although it can still be counteracted by a ''[[SRD:Slow|slow]]'' spell).

For every subsequent two rounds the metabolic boost is maintained over the first 2d4 [[SRD:Round|rounds]], another charge is drained.

This ability may be used up to a maximum of once per hour, regardless of how long it is maintained.
