The storm is the stormbird's greatest defense, disrupting efforts to take it down rightfully with ranged weapons.  A means of stopping or surviving the storm is needed and even then its defenses are great.  It will use ''call lightning'' and ''call lightning storm'' for both offense and healing, and keep its protective layer of flagbirds around it when tactically sound to do so.  Fortunately for most if the winds do not threaten opponents most of its attacks can only inflict nonlethal damage.

The stormbird does not have the kaiju's "Mighty Steps" ability, being too thin and light.  However it can always hover in place regardless of flight maneuverability.

For every 3 points of damage it would have taken from an electrical attack it instead heals 1 point of damage.
