This is actually an expansion on the crystal of energy protection from in the Magic Item Compendium, covering more rare and obscure elements.  They protect against force damage, negative energy damage, positive energy damage, and untyped damaged caused by psionic effects such as ''[[SRD:Mind Thrust|mind thrust]]'' respectively.

This augment crystal grants resistance 5 to the designated energy type.  Once the crystal has prevented a total of 25 damage, in becomes inert until the next day.

As above, but grants resistance 10 with a total pool of 50 points per day before going inert.

;Greater
As above, but grants resistance 15 with a total pool of 75 points per day before going inert.
