This pocket watch is heavy in the hand, with an intricate but asymmetrical design on the back. It is usually attached to the wearer by a chain so that it stays attached even if dropped. In has hour and minute hands. The case is usually weathered and worn and the glass etched with wear. There's a curious additional button at the top.

When in working order, the additional button may be pressed once a day when held as a [[SRD:Swift Actions|swift action]]. This grants the holder the effects of ''[[SRD:Haste|haste]]'' for 1d3 rounds. As soon as this wears off, they are then affected by ''[[SRD:Slow|slow]]'' for an equal number of rounds.
