|benefit=You are able to alter, craft and maintain magical or technological devices. This grant you a +2 bonus on [[SRD:Craft Skill|Craft]] (Technology) and [[SRD:Disable Device Skill|Disable Device]] checks, always treat them as class skill and gain maximum ranks in both, previously invested ranks are refunded.

At 1st level, 3rd level and each 3 levels thereafter you gain a "device slot". A device may be any items which may be crafted by [[SRD:Craft Magic Arms and Armor|Craft Magic Arms and Armor]], [[SRD:Craft Wondrous Item|Craft Wondrous Item]] or [[SRD:Forge Ring|Forge Ring]].  You may craft a device as if you had the necessary crafting feat and spells, you must still meet other prerequisites as normal. You gain 500 GP worth of progress in each device, but you must provide any additional gold, experience or other components. You may alter and enhance any devices you crafted, such as adding additional enhancement to a magic weapon or armor.

You may disassemble a device over the course of 1 week, freeing it 'slot' and regaining 75% of the gold you used to craft it (not counting the free 500 GP). If a device is destroyed or lost its slot is automatically freed.
