|benefit=As long as you have a [[Cold]] spell available to cast, you can cast freezing liquid water spells: a [[SRD:Water Effect|Water]] spell modified by this metamagic inflicts extra [[Cold]] damage. If the spell doesn't normally deal damage to hit points, it deals extra cold damage equal to its level. If it already deals damage, half of its damage is [[Cold]] damage.

A non-damaging freezing liquid spell uses a spell slot of same spell level, while a damaging one uses up a spell slot one level higher than the spell’s actual level.
