|benefit=As an immediate action in response to a melee attack roll against you, you may make an opposed attack roll.  If you are successful the attack is negated and the opponent is left open and you may make a single attack at your highest attack bonus as if you were two-weapon fighting (often -2).  If you hit, the attack is a "mini-crit" which deals +50% more damage than normal.  If you score an actual critical hit, the critical multiplier rises by one instead.

You can use this on ranged attacks, but it only negates the attack and does not offer a counter attack.
