Hmm...
Looks like I'll be playing a bind-- er... cosplayer this time... -- Jota 06:21, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
So...
Should I add a furry costume? XD --Ghostwheel 06:18, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
- Do it. --71.82.214.138 21:12, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
- I tried to, but couldn't find enough thematic reason to :-(
- Basically, I can't see enough people in a fantasy setting venerating druid/shapeshifting heroes, while of the others there are more than enough examples. --Ghostwheel 04:41, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
Stuff You Missed
- the Otaku attention whore classics (cat girl, fox girl, etc.)
- Focused/thematic magicians (summoner, shaman, draconic, faerie, etc)
- Cult classics (goth, vampire, punk rocker, replicant, etc.)
- And so many others...
That is why the original used templates- pick a rule set, reskin as costume, serve. What you have here is a sadder and less flavorful Chameleon. And try as you may to incorporate all possible costumes, I speak from experience when I say it will be an excerise in frustration. So, how do these costumes work in regards to creative types? Do I need an alternate class feature if I need a cat girl or pixie costume? A feat that grants acess to the lolita or mecha pilot costume? A spell that can transform one of my costumes into a vampire or draconic costume?--Change=Chaos. Period. SC 05:23, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
- It galls me that you didn't even take the time to read the first paragraph of the class. This isn't some retarded, joke class that pretends to be a con-goer. This is an honest-to-life cosplayer who takes on vestiges of their favorite heroes, ones that they've read about in legend and lore. It is true that it is based on the Chameleon, but while that class is, honestly, pretty poor apart from a few more interesting tricks (craft anything), this class can stand on its own being an effective 5th wheel and if the party needs it, is able to serve in a role fairly effectively (and multiple roles at higher levels). You'll notice I even mentioned above that I wasn't able to find justification for a druid/shapeshifter class if you had the acumen to read just a few lines up because they're not as prevalent in lore as the other types are. I've covered most of the major archetypes in D&D, and without good justification for it, I don't need/want to add more. If you've got an argument to make why that (or others) should be added, make it, or your words are but chaff. --Ghostwheel 07:06, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
- See, Spaz, this is why people keep Community Shitholing your shit. Not only are you retarded, logic-impervious and fucking annoying, you also refuse to address commentary on your work that's trying to be helpful with anything but more of your inane bullshit. Now you've decided to take your peculiar brand of non-logic to some work which, while I personally don't like, I can't find fault with on a mechanical basis, and bring up an argument that is so patently ignorant and stupid that I'm surprised how the world hasn't collectively lost about a million points of IQ as a result of your stating of it.
- In all honesty, you're just a cancer on this community, and I want you to go away. You're contributing nothing useful to anyone, and will likely cause me to have a premature heart attack from all the rage you force me to vent in your general direction in a bid to get it through your thick skull that nobody cares what you have to say, and until you do a complete 180, nobody will either. - MisterSinister 09:13, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
- Not to mention Spaz never fucking reads people's material before rudely taking a shit all over it. He's like the guy in a Choose Your Own Adventure thread who turns a realistic romance drama story into "AND THEN MICHAEL WAS A DRUID TROLL". --71.82.214.138 19:59, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
