Anointed Champion [Ancestral School]
Prerequisites: One Devoted Spirit maneuver, smite class featureBenefit: You unlock the ability to learn maneuvers and stances from the school of Champion’s Might. You treat maneuvers or stances from Champion’s Might as if they were Devoted Spirit maneuvers for purposes of qualifying for new maneuvers or stances. You may choose new maneuvers by means of classes that grant access to Devoted Spirit, or by means of the Martial Study feat.
You treat all levels in a class that grant the smite class feature as initiator levels for purposes of learning new Devoted Spirit or Champion’s Might maneuvers and their power. For example, a 4th level paladin/2nd level crusader is treated as having an initiator level of 4th for all maneuvers, and of 6th for Champion’s Might or Devoted Spirit maneuvers. Classes that grant the smite class feature include the crusader, the paladin, the blackguard, the soulborn (see Magic of Incarnum for more details), and the cleric (only if it has the Destruction domain).
If you have no ability to replenish maneuvers, you may sacrifice a daily use of your smite ability to recover all expended maneuvers for the encounter.
You gain an extra use of your smite ability per day. Furthermore, you automatically learn a new maneuver from the Champion’s Might school, as if taking the Martial Study feat.
Normal: A character cannot choose Champion’s Might by any other means. The initiator level for Devoted Spirit maneuvers is equal to all levels in classes that grant access to Devoted Spirit (such as the crusader) and prestige classes that directly advance initiator level, plus half the level in all other classes.
